Paul Smotas, who served as Stonington’s interim superintendent following the retirement of Michael McKee, was unanimously chosen by the Board of Education to again lead the school district as interim superintendent following the departure of Leanne Masterjoseph.
Smotas, who formerly served as East Lyme’s superintendent, will bring both knowledge of the Stonington community and a wealth of experience as a superintendent.
He will begin work in Stonington late in June. Welcome to him!
